Tonsil, Adenoid, and Ear Tube Surgery: The Day of Surgery
When you get to the hospital, you will need to check in. You will sign a surgery consent form if you haven’t already. Before you sign it, make sure all your questions about the surgery have been answered.

Things you should bring with you
Make sure you have:

Insurance cards or forms

A list of any medicines your child takes regularly

A list of any allergies your child has, such as from medicines or certain foods

A list of special diet needs, such as for diabetes

A favorite toy or blanket for your child

For babies, a bottle and formula or pacifier for after surgery
